VIVAH”

* Review on film
“VIVAH”
“ a journey from engagement to marriage”

By the Raj Shree production
* Directed by Suraj Barajatya
* starring; AlokNath , Anupam Kher, Shahid Kappor, Amrita

Introduction:
As we know the Raj Shree production films are based on family relations. Love is central theme in their films. Moreover, there is a good blend of some serious incidents and melodious songs in his films. They have already given some extra ordinary films like; “Hum Apke Hai Kaun”, “Hum Sath Sath Hai”, etc. The Raj Shree Production’s recently new released film ‘Vivah’ is another film that is based on family Background. In this modern age there is a good platform for comedy and sequel films. Inspite of mking such films, the Raj shree production has given platform to family films.

This film ‘vivah’ starts n the small city of M.P with AlokNath’s domestic life where he lives happily his sweet and small family. In this film he has adopted a daughter of his elder brother who has lost her parents, is main character-Poonam. He is very serious about her marriage .One of these relatives suggests him for her engagement with Prem, the hero of the story. Then Prem and Poonam meet to choose each other. At that time Prem confesses his bad habits of smoking, etc. With the progress of film, the story takes turn because co-incidentally Poonam becomes the victim of a fire accident in her own house. She looses all her grace expect face. Even though Prem does not step back and dares to get married.

We can find fertility of relationship in the film .Both the films are balanced so far human relation is concerted .There is not any exaggeration of hospitality, lifestyle and behavior so far. Keeping in the mind the character of Prem, performs humanly duty being a son, a brother, a lover and husband. On the other hand main female character –Poonam is so innocent that can’t understand causality of destiny though she gets revolt of innocent.

Conclusion:-
This film is proved one of the most pathetic and touchable films that I have ever seen. Form the point of view of our ancient rituals regarding ‘VIVAH’, the director of the film –Suraj Barajatya has endeavored enough to make people aware of preserve duties and responsibilities being in society. It is fairly proved in this film that, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”.
